About UM Inspiration Hub

Exploring the Infinite, Analyzing the Extreme.

This laboratory is a collision space for the boldest, most unconventional ideas. Here, we push the boundaries of thought, explore cutting-edge theories, and stretch ideas to their absolute limits—all within a framework of complete freedom of expression. Curious about something? Just dive in and experiment.

Each quarter, UM hosts cross-disciplinary innovation summits, covering philosophy, technology, art, digital nomadism, education, criminology, and more, and creative competitions ranging from creative writing to experimental photography. Whether it’s a philosophical art exhibition in Shanghai and Philadelphia or the online “Gap Year Carnival" forum series, UM continues to bridge theory and action—championing the World Player Spirit in every endeavor.

What is art? Perhaps we can list some famous works of art. Monet's oil painting "Water Lilies", Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper", Rodin's sculpture "The Thinker", Beethoven's music "Pastoral Symphony"... We won’t deny that these are works of art. Then is banana a work of art? What about a slice of pickled cucumber?
